Catalase control

Bacteria can start to grow in water and pulp towers which can cause peroxide decomposition. A lower level of residual peroxide in the system affects or prolongs the time taken to attain the correct brightness level.

BIM’s catalase control programme prevents decomposition of hydrogen peroxide and can be used as preventative treatment before a planned shutdown or can be added to the system when the problems occur.
